Aluminum-coated unarmored cables are widely used in applications where mechanical armoring is not required. They can be used for power feeders for lighting and other electrical equipment in non-combustible buildings, such as office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, and factories. STABILOY conductors meet the requirements for ACM alloy conductors in CSA Standard C22.2, Section 38, as well as GB12706.1 and 60502.1.
The (ZR) YJV/VV alternative has a minimum operating temperature of -40°C and a maximum long-term operating temperature rating of 90°C. The cable conductors are resistant to sunlight aging.
