We've compiled information about the fire-resistant cable model YTTW-3x50, including its product introduction, national standards, features, and technical parameters, to help you understand what YTTW cable is.
What is YTTW-3x50 cable?
YTTW-3x50 is a 3-core, 50 square meter, flexible mineral insulated cable.
YTTW-3x50 Product Introduction
The YTTW series metal-sheathed, inorganic mineral insulated power cables utilize stranded copper conductors. The insulation is mechanically wrapped with high-temperature-resistant synthetic mica tape. The insulation is densely filled with alkali-free glass fiber. The sheath is longitudinally wrapped with copper tape, welded to form a copper tube, and then continuously corrugated. For applications where the metal sheath cannot be exposed, a polyolefin (low-smoke, zero-halogen) sheath can be added.
YTTW Product Implementation Standards
1. National Standard JG/T 313-2011 Metal-sheathed Inorganic Mineral Insulated Cables and Terminals for Rated Voltages 750V and Below.
2. BS 6387:1994 performance requirements for cables to maintain circuit integrity under flame conditions.
3. Comply with relevant corporate standards.
YTTW Product Features
1. Excellent fire resistance, exceeding the Class C 950°C to 1000°C 1.5h combustion requirements specified in British Standard BS 6387-1994. Furthermore, the cable can withstand water spray and mechanical impact during combustion.
2. Long continuous production lengths. Whether single-core or multi-core cable, the cable can be produced to meet power supply requirements, reaching lengths of over 2000 meters. No joints are required.
3. Large cross-sections: single-core cables can reach up to 630 mm², and multi-core cables can reach up to 240 mm².
4. Flexible, the cable can be wound on a reel with a bend radius >20D.
5. Non-toxic and smokeless during combustion, and produces no harmful gases after combustion, making it an environmentally friendly green product.
6. High overload capacity: This cable not only has a high current carrying capacity but also a high overload capacity. The permissible operating temperature of the cable when overloaded reaches 250°C.
7. Excellent corrosion resistance: Inorganic mineral insulated fire-resistant cables utilize copper sheaths, eliminating the need for conduit, and the copper sheath offers excellent corrosion resistance.
8. No electromagnetic interference: When installed alongside signal and control cables, the shielding of the copper sheath prevents interference with signals transmitted by these cables.
9. Excellent safety: This cable not only provides power during flames, activates fire-fighting equipment, and reduces fire damage, but is also extremely reliable for personal safety. Its copper sheath serves as an optimal grounding wire, significantly improving the sensitivity and reliability of grounding protection.
10. Transportation and installation of inorganic mineral insulated fire-resistant cables are similar to those of ordinary cables and are relatively simple.
11. Excellent cost-effectiveness: Due to its advanced manufacturing process and simple installation, inorganic mineral insulated fire-resistant cables offer significantly lower overall costs than BTTZ mineral insulated cables, all under the same conditions.
