The distinction between (rigid) and (flexible) mineral insulated cables essentially represents the difference between nationally standardized and non-standard products. As a mature product, traditional (rigid) mineral insulated cables have been in use for over 120 years. Relying on their stable and reliable performance, they are gradually replacing fire-resistant cables both domestically and internationally. However, non-standard (flexible) mineral insulated cables still have numerous drawbacks. Although some domestic manufacturers have developed various (flexible) cables, their performance remains inferior to that of traditional (rigid) cables, and even their flexibility falls short. Currently, only traditional (rigid) mineral insulated cables can ensure safe and reliable fire protection power distribution.
