Computer Cables
These products are designed and manufactured in accordance with our company's corporate standard, "Plastic Insulated Computer Cables," Q/HHD05-2008. The standard's technical requirements and test methods reference leading domestic and international standards for similar products.
These products are suitable for connecting electronic computers, testing instruments, and control system instruments with high anti-interference requirements, as well as for analog data transmission lines with high interference resistance. Features:
1. The core insulation is made of PE, XLPE, or PVC plastic, which exhibits excellent oxidation and aging resistance. This material offers excellent insulation performance, withstands high voltages, minimizes dielectric constant and dielectric loss, and is minimally affected by temperature and frequency, ensuring satisfactory transmission performance and a long service life.
2. To reduce crosstalk and external interference between signal lines, most cables utilize a shielded structure. Different shielding methods are used for different applications and requirements, including group shielding, overall shielding after cabling, or group shielding plus overall shielding after cabling. Shielding materials include copper wire (P), copper tape (P2), and aluminum-plastic composite tape (P3).
3. Shields must provide excellent insulation between each other. Even if a potential difference occurs between the shields in use, it will not affect data signal transmission and quality.
4. The long-term operating temperature for polyethylene-insulated and polyvinyl chloride-insulated cables is no more than 70°C, and for XLPE-insulated cables, no more than 90°C.
5. The temperature during cable laying should be no less than 0°C. If the temperature is below this, preheat the cable.
6. Cable laying bending radius:
-- The bending radius for unarmored and unshielded cables and shielded flexible cables should be no less than 6 times the cable's outer diameter;
-- The bending radius for armored or copper-tape shielded cables should be no less than 12 times the cable's outer diameter;
7. The conductor for fixed-installation cables shall be Type 1 round solid conductors or Type 2 round stranded conductors as specified in GB/T3956-1997;
-- The conductor for mobile-installation flexible cables shall be Type 5 flexible round stranded conductors as specified in GB/T3956-1997. 8. AC Withstand Voltage Test:
--Apply an AC voltage of 1500V between cores for 1 minute, with no breakdown of the cable.
--Apply an AC voltage of 1000V between cores and shield for 1 minute, with no breakdown of the cable.
--Apply an AC voltage of 500V between core + shield and armor for 1 minute, with no breakdown of the cable.
9. Insulation Resistance:
--Insulation resistance between cores and between core and shield. At 20°C, the insulation resistance of XLPE, PE, fluoroplastic, and other insulated cables shall be no less than 1000 MΩ.km; that of PVC and silicone rubber insulated cables shall be no less than 25 MΩ.km.
--Insulation resistance between group shields and between group shield and overall shield. At 20°C, the insulation resistance shall be no less than 1 MΩ.km.
10. If combustion characteristics are required for the product, it shall comply with the "General Rules for Flame-Retardant and Fire-Resistant Wires and Cables" (GB/T19666-2005).
