This cable exhibits excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone, and UV radiation, and will not crack even after long-term outdoor use. It also offers excellent electrical performance, corona resistance, and arc resistance. It also possesses excellent physical and mechanical properties, far surpassing those of standard rubber-sheathed power cables at temperatures up to 150°C. It also exhibits excellent resistance to chemicals, fuels, and oils. Odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, with low surface activity and low thermal absorption.
V. Cable Structure Description
5.1 Conductor
The conductor shall be copper conductor conforming to the requirements of GB/T 3956.
The conductor surface shall be smooth, free of oil, grease, burrs, and sharp edges that could damage the insulation.
5.2 Insulation
The insulation shall be made of silicone rubber, tightly extruded onto the conductor and easily peelable without damaging the conductor. The insulation surface shall be flat and smooth.
The insulation thickness shall comply with the standard requirements. The average insulation thickness shall not be less than the nominal value, and the thickness at the thinnest point shall not be less than 90% of the nominal value minus 0.1 mm.
5.3 Cabling
The insulated cores shall be twisted into a cable with a right-hand lay direction. After cabling, the cable shall be wrapped with overlapping polyester film tape, with an overlap ratio of not less than 20%.
5.4 Filling
To ensure a rounded cable core, non-hygroscopic filling materials may be used as needed. 5.6 Outer Sheath
The outer sheath is made of silicone rubber.
The sheath is tightly extruded around the insulated wire or cable core and can be easily peeled without damaging the core. The sheath surface is smooth and uniform in color.
The sheath thickness complies with the standard. The average sheath thickness is no less than the nominal value, and the thickness at the thinnest point is no less than 85% of the nominal value minus 0.1mm.
VI. Main Technical Specifications
The DC resistance of the conductor at 20°C complies with GB/T 3956.
The minimum insulation resistance at 20°C is 100MΩ/km.
The finished cable must withstand an AC voltage of 3500V at 50Hz for 5 minutes without breakdown.
VII. Precautions:
1. The temperature range for mobile cable use should be controlled between -30°C and +180°C. Temperatures too low can easily cause damage to the cable interior or sheath due to bending. 2. The cable's braided shield is designed to protect against electromagnetic interference. During installation and use, it should be connected to zero potential (ground potential) to prevent static charges generated by electromagnetic interference from generating an electric field that interferes with cable signal transmission and allows for the timely dissipation of any static charges. The cable's shield also provides some protection against magnetic fields.
3. The cable should be protected from vehicles or strong impacts from hard objects to prevent damage to the cable's insulation or sheath.
4. The cable should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from sunlight, and protected from contact with corrosive solvents, liquids, or gases.
